Pacira BioSciences (PCRX): Viatris to buy it for $1.65B in cash at $36.50 a share

Viatris agreed to buy Pacira for $36.50 a share in cash, about $1.65B, a 44.8% premium to its last close. The deal adds non-opioid pain drugs Exparel and Zilretta, which together made about $692M in 2025 sales. Pacira shares jumped about 44%, near the offer price.
