Editorial standards

Short does not mean careless. This is how every take is made.

Sourcing

Every take lists the sources it relies on at the bottom of the page. We prefer primary sources, such as company filings, central bank and government releases, and official announcements, and name reputable reporting where primary material is not available.

Opinion and fact

Facts are stated as facts and attributed. Our view, including the bullish, bearish or neutral sentiment tag on a stock take, is opinion and is labelled as such. Sentiment reflects a view on a news item at the time of writing, not a price target or recommendation.

Dates and updates

Each take shows when it was published. If we materially change a take after publication, it shows an “Updated” date. Market data and prices can move quickly and may be out of date by the time you read a take.

Corrections

If we get something wrong we fix it promptly and note the update. To report an error, email whatsup@centiview.com.

Independence

Takes are not sponsored, and we do not accept payment to cover or favour a company. If that ever changes, it will be disclosed on the take concerned.
