HP Inc (HPQ): PC shipments fell 30.9% in Q3, the steepest drop among top vendors
IDC says global PC shipments fell 20.1% in Q3 to 62.7M units. HP fell hardest of the big vendors: down 30.9% to 10.3M, versus Dell -25% and Lenovo -22.6%. Early buying ahead of price rises and costly memory are blamed. IDC counts shipments, not HP's own sales.
