SpaceX agreed to buy Grain Management's 800 MHz spectrum for about $8B in cash (WSJ-reported figure), and tower stocks jumped: Crown Castle rose roughly 13% on the day. Investors bet a new carrier would need ground sites. Deal still needs FCC approval.
